Default 440 LSX build

Regrouped after throwing a rod in the 408 and picked up a LME built 440ci LSX. Callies Dragonslayer crank, Manley I beam rods, Wiseco nitrous pistons. The cam is pretty healthy, .290 duration and .850 lift. Still undecided about which heads I'll go with, but leaning towards a set of Mast Motorsports 305cc LS7s with titanium intake and Inconel exhaust valves. Crower HD lifters, T&D rockers and Manton pushrods will make up the rest of valvetrain. I'll run Carys LXR intake and reuse the Accufab 4500 throttle body.

Been a long while, heads showed up months ago along with the intake. The block was dropped off at the machine shop this past September and was hot tanked, honed and is reassembled. Waiting on push rods and injectors at this point.

Dry sump is plumbed and the Holly EFI is wired with a base tune loaded in. The Nasty Performance fabricated valve covers I used on the 408 didn't clear the new rockers so I ordered a new set from All Pro, which will be delivered today. The car cranks but won't turn over- ditched the red top for a new battery and ran a new ground cable. If the starter is shot I'll go with a Tilton.
