Hi there everyone, I have a 1997 Camaro ss with 115k miles on it and it’s completely stock besides some longtime headers, a borla exhaust and some polyurethane motor/transmission mounts. I am planning on changing the cam on the car and the heads but I don’t know were to start. I’ve been doing some research on the le2 package and it seems to me like it would be the best idea, does anyone know all the specific parts that I would need to fulfill this project of replacing the heads and cam? Thanks and greatly appreciated.

Head gasket kit usually includes everything you need aside from head bolts/studs. ARP is the only one I'd get bolts/studs from. Depending on what you can afford, not a bad time to replace the water pump and coolant too. Stock lifters would be okay, but you can upgrade to LS7 lifters or a name brand. I'd also replace the push rods and switch to roller rockers.

Lloyd will tell you what to get for what you want to do. most likely recommend 1.6 roller rockers and some hardened pushrods. will also need to measure to get right length of pushrods. also bigger throttle body, probly a 58mm. also get the intake ported, cheaper than a performance one with better flow. I went with 30# injectors
