Default Shifter *****
I have a 1997 Automatic RS Camaro. Can I put a shift **** in my car that doesn't have a button even though there's a botton on the stock shift ****?

nope, how are you going to engage the shifter without depressing it?

from what i am told you can. but if you bump the shifter by accident it will go into another gear. it would be like the shifters you put in street rod trucks

just go with the B&M Console Megashifter....looks great

i think ive seen one, but the B&M console megashifter is swwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeettttt

ya i agree that the B&M Console Megashifter is a sick looking shifter, but they dont make it for the 97'. the last year is 1992 for that model. Any other suggestions?

B&M makes another Camaro shifter for newer ones, il check into it
