for the past week I've been trying to get the stock **** off. whats holding that sucker on?

Manual or auto? Manuals thread off. Autos have a little staple on the backside. Once that's pulled out it just slides off a little a few wiggles.

yeah its a stick. I've been trying to twist it off. it won't budge.
