I replaced the Monsoon unit in my 02 SS with a DVD player with a backup camera. Everything new is working but I now do not have any lights for the instrument panel. All other lights are working, fuse is not blown. checked the bulbs and they are good. Is there a connection around the radio I may have unplugged? Does any of the wiring from the radio go to the instrument cluster lights? Any help would be appreciated!

 

there should be a wire on the head unit for diming the head unit display with the dash lights. try unhooking it, make sure its not grounding and you have the right wires.

 

Check the "IP dimmer" fuse and the "tail lamps" fuse if unplugging the radio doesn't help. Does the a/c panel and fog lamp switch fail to light up also?
