I dont know where to get a fabric that will look nice on my camaro z28.
any suggestions?

 

Also the fabric should be Black or Grey.

ok i found a fabric shop and chose a nice fabric in black. i wanted the gray but it would take 4 days to get there. so i bought the black. i figure it will match the black when the t-tops r off. ill take pics when done.

 

ok, i put the black material on the headliner!! it looks great! good quality fabric i bought. looks greats but i only have one regret/ lesson. It's better to have excess and fold it onto the top and spray adhesive it down then to have not enough lol.. only a couple spots i messed up for 20 bucks and a can of Loctite spray adhesive it looks great. It'll do until i get that nice Gray fabric that ill take my time on.

 

ok so i've come back in here to tell everyone to not use Loctite when doing a headliner. Im going to have to retry it using a different brand with a higher strength because the headliner is drooping down already.

So in all, it didnt go so well i guess

 

the cardboard on mine was coming apart so the glue wouldnt hold. ended up getting a plastic based one from here. New Chevy Camaro Headliner | Chevrolet Headliner works better than cardboard and look pretty good.

I had to replace my headliner material and it came out nice. I used a 3M product interior adhesive in a spray can. My liner was what looked like fiber glass mat. I removed it cleaned off all of the old material and glue and the applied the adhesive to the new material and liner then let them sit a few minutes. I got close to the edges a couple of times and almost cut it too short. I left enough material to fold over the liner after that.
Two notes to remember lay out the new material and fold it over , dont allow it to touch and watch for overspray for the adhesive. It sticks very well to everything. When trimming do that after the new material is attached and folded over the liner edges.

 

hahaha def, and yes i agree on the 3M spray adhesive. I repaired the loctite with 3m and now it holds great! doesnt look to bad :]
