sure sounds like the amp inside the stereo won't handle the draw and is shutting down when more than one speaker is on. or could be poor connection for power or ground. might try a hot wire to positive and connect good ground to ground wire.

 

I paid $25 for the radio and it probably was a pos to begin with since its a dual. Wasnt looking for anything great for the car when i bought the radio. Ill end up buying one off ebay or something.

 

Bought a new radio. Radio goes into Protect mode when i turn it on. Might end up wiring it into the factory harness.

 

Well it did help to know that there was no speaker in the passenger door. Now the passenger side works. Drivers side rear did work in the past when i first hooked up the cheapy $25 radio which isnt blown apperently. There seems to be a short somewhere. I guess im gonna rewire the driver speakers into the radio harness then with new wire.

 

wire at the door jam is a common fail point. lol, speaker does help

 

How hard is it to run a wire to the radio harness from the door?

 

once all the plastic is outa the way its not bad
