high beam switch

so i have a 98 camaro and whenever i click the high beams on the turn signal lever gets stuck and for quite some time it wont click back til i mess with it. any ideas what is broken? i was thinking the turn signal switch or getting a whole new lever

Sounds like the return spring may be broken.
