Default Bose radio

just bought a bose radio, from a 1995 Z-28 Camaro. tried putting it in my 1995 v-6 Camaro, and everything works, but can barely hear it. is this not just a plug and play thing, or do I have to have an external amp, to have any volume? thanks.

Looking at the wiring diagrams for radios used in1995, the Bose system needs an amplifier added to use as designed. The speakers are powered through the amplifier from the radio. I'm not familiar with audio systems to explain the system much farther. I've attached the wiring diagrams from the 1995 service manual. Hope this may help steer you in the correct direction.
