If you look at them during the day, they are white. At night you can see a bluish tint, and that's whats you're seeing. Just like the HID's I have. Everywhere I look, it says that 4300K = pure white (or something along those lines), but as you can tell, there is a bit of a blue hue to them.

i didnt even realize the whites could be that blue.. just curious.. how do you think UV LED's would look? i thought about blue, then thought about purple to match the car.. i found some UV's that are kinda between blue and purple, and kinda blacklightish.. not sure if it would trip me out or give me cancer though..

I'm sorry Bill, I lied to you. I got curious as to why they were blue. Took apart my old gauges, and sure enough, the back of the gauges is blue. Here is a pic.

I'm not sure what is different about the 161 and 194, but they look exactly the same to me. Some in my gauges were 161 and some were 194, but I replaced them all with 194 LEDs. 37 and 73 are the same way. I put a Z gauge cluster in my car, and I can't say I remember needing the 37 or 73 bulb. Though I would have one extra just in case.

Oh and I got some done, but I had to make these, I didnt just buy replacement bulbs. I dont think I'll try that behind the dash though lol. Theyre so bright and look AWESOME and all the parts cost less than $18.
