I hate that yellowish look of halogen, so is there a way i could replace my interior lights with pure white LEDs? I've got plenty of time, and taking the dash out etc, is no problem. I just dont know where to LED bulbs that work with the stock bulb sockets...

 

I think I saw something on this on the Macewen site. Try that out for size

unless.. are you talking about all dash lights? or just speedo lights? I'm not sure of all the dash lights on the pre 97, but i know on the 97+ the foglights and hvac lights and whatnot might be tricky.. but the speedo lights are really easy. If thats all you need, i'll dig up a site in my favorites that has direct fit LED's.

 

I got all my LEDs from eBay, with the exception of the two map lights and main cabin light. I'll look around for the site I got those from. To answer your question, yes you can. http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/fp/SFV/32481

i think you only need 5 for the guages though, the rest are colored for turn signals, brights indicator, etc.. IIRC..

 

Five pics. One are my reverse lights, one is of the map lights, one is of the cabin light, one of my gauges, and the other of my HIDs. There is more glare on the pic of the HIDs, than there is in person. Also Bill, I just counted on my old set of gauges, and there are nine bulbs 194 size, that go in my gauges. Mine old ones are same style as 97+. Also, the turn signals and brights don't need colored bulbs, there is a blue or green film that turns the light colors. All my LEDs are the white colored type. At least that's what all were advertised as.
