Default WS6 hood vs double vision hood

i have the double vision ram air hood for my camaro. its basically a ws6 hood for camaros. since my hood came with the scoops closed, i cut them open on the outside and inside and the cowl so its functional. ans since i did cut them open, it just looks open lol i found grills for WS6 hoods to make it look neater but im not sure if the two hoods are exactly the same so the grills work.

this is my double vision hood. i would think the air dams on my hood are the same size of the dams on a WS6 but im not entirely sure

can you not just get some universal mesh and bond it from the inside, i'm not sure if the WS6 are exactly the same shape?

i thought about doing that but i dont have the smallest of hands so i dont know how i would be able to hold it in there as it bonds to the hood or something.

yeah i like it open too bc my car runs about 20* cooler since i got the hood. i just want to make it look clean with a grill.

Do you ever have any issues in the rain with it open?

The only issue I do have with the rain is my serpentine belt. It will squeal for about 20 minutes then go away. But I check the weather whenever I take out, and when the forecast calls for rain, I put a strip of sheet metal across the air dams under the hood so it blocks of the rain and you can't see that they are blocked from the outside. I haven't found any other issue except the belt.

Lol it's cool. Everyone has "just wondering" types of questions.

does your hood have the holes for the screws to go into? The mesh is screwed on for my ws6, so i would assume those aftermarket ws6 mesh things would also screw in.

No, my hood doesn't have the holes, but the way the installation is explained, I'm thinking that they are just rivet screws or something of that sort. Or at worst, I would have to drill little holes and force the screws in. They do come with screws.
