Default Wiring Diagram

Im in need of the oil sending unit circuitry from the sender to the connector that plugs into the gauge cluster. Anyone know of one?

I have tried 2 different gauge clusters and they both do the exact same thing... peg the gauge past the 80psi mark. I think the odds are slim that the exact issue would happen on two entirely different clusters....

I also was wondering why there are 2 choices for sending units at the parts store.... one is a 2 pin connector and one is a 3 pin connector... The harness has one single tan wire. What gives???

2z's you need to at least put your year and model in your sig. lol. let me guess 93 z28. and a 93 has a part number 22578692 for the oil pressure gage sensor. the 93 has the sensor on the side of the motor instead of behind the intake manifold like the other years so it needs to be a little longer.

Default Fixed!!

Actually I fixed it tonight after work. I bypassed the wire in the harness and went straight from the sender to the pin in the side of the cluster. As soon I turned the key on the needle went to 0 instead of passed 80 psi. I knew I was on to something. Fired it up and it read about 60psi cold @ idle. I ran a new wire from the sender to the C2 pin out and its fixed!!

you could have relocated your sender to behind the intake and used the shorter one for 95-97
