What is the size of camaro wipers?
I mean the number u read when u wana buy one !

craby Nov 19, 2011 12:28 PM

oem calls for a 24 in blade. some guys us a 22 on driver side and 24 on passenger side.
anco makes or used to make a specific wiper blade for the 93-97 Firebird/Camaro part number is 22-24.
oem fit Trico 24-9R
93-97 have the upside down hook 98-02 have the normal hook and are easier to find.

On the subject of wipers, does anyone elses 'maro do the wiper thing shown in the below pic? This is the only car I've owned that leaves the stripe and it really irritates me. I'm wondering if the wiper arm is bent, pushing water outward.

If other cars are doing it, guess not...

could be, also looks like you have a 22 in blade on the driver side.

Rain x. Is an easy fix

1augapfel Nov 25, 2011 10:10 AM

Pretty sure I have Trico 24-9R blade/arm assemblies on both sides. I took a pic of the package when I got them for future reference.

As for Rain-X, no thanks. That stuff is on my sh#@ list; I think a PO put it on the *inside* of the windshield and it's a nightmare. I cannot get the glass clean using any cleaner. It just beads up on the glass. A web search tells me that the only way to remove Rain-X from glass is to use Bon Ami or some similar low abrasion cleaner. Apparently the Rain-X bonds to the glass as a coating and must be removed mechanically. That's a large, steeply sloped windshield and I have little enthusiasm for carefully cleaning the interior surface of the whole thing. Especially since the Bon Ami package says "Do not use on glass."
