Default Window alignment

After rain this morning, I went out to the car and saw rain on the upper inside door panel on drivers side. Then noticed the 1/4 inch gap between the window glass and black rubber piece of door panel. Front portion of glass fits snug, so i figure its out of line. I recently replaced window motor on passenger side but have never had to deal with adjusting the glass. Is there an easy way to do this? I'm sure some type of clips hold the glass in place but didn't know how hard it was to reach with tools.

Do you have a 4th gen? I have had the same problem. I took the panel off realigned the window and it was good for a little bit now its back to having the little gap. I'm not exactly sure how to fix it but you aren't alone.

The outer door to window "seal" doesn't, can't, and isn't supposed to prevent water from getting inside the door. That's why doors have drain holes at the bottom.
