factory size changing the height of a tire will affect the speedo if you want a wider tire in the rear go with a 235/50r16

One last thing before I buy the tires. So, the wider tires will fit my stock rims? I assumed I needed wider rims to fit?

How wide of a tire? On a 8" rim, 245 would the widest id run.

Should I get the same on all the tires or just rears? Would it handle like crap if I kept my front ones I have now?

I had larger tires in the back and for me, it wasn't worth it, as the car was tilted forward and I scraped the front end on more curbs that way. Went with stock P215/60R16 tires and that leveled things out, and I haven't had that issue.

I'd love to have slightly taller tires with my current rims, however. I am thinking of getting springs that raise the car an inch or so, as well. I hate scraping the bottom of the car against the concrete when I go up some inclines. Not sure what the best option to do that is, without raising the car too high or making it look or drive worse. 95 3.4 model.

I've been reading more into this topic, trying to find the best size tires before I make a purchase. So, I'm back here again to ask more newbie questions.

After looking at my Camaro, and other Camaros, I was thinking about going 245/60/16 in the rear to make it a little higher and wider.

I know I'm trying to get that wide look, but performance is the better choice anyway. How well will that ride with 225/50/16 in the fronts?

I CAN get new front ones, too, but I'd rather keep them to save some money and they are still in good shape.

With 225/50/16 in the front, what would be the best rear tires to blend in and still ride good with the fronts?

245/50/16 . . . 245/60/16 . . . 255/50/16 . . . 255/60/16

These are stock 16" rims. Not aftermarket. And I read that 255 can fit on stock 16" Camaro rims.

But I want the best size for performance. If I don't get my wide look I am wanting, that's fine. As long as it rides & handles well.

Also, as you can see, in my sig pic, the front width is good enough. I just feel like I have more play room in the rear.
