why does my car make the same noise as a rc car.

Recently my car started making a noise under the hood that sounds just like a rc car, when i accelerate it sounds like a rc car is accelerating and when i turn it gets even louder. when i am ideling the sound is still their. Its annoying is it something with the power steering it started randomly.

If it's a sawing-whining sound, that's your power steering pump telling you it wants to drain your wallet.
Check your fluid level though, maybe it's low. And if it is, you'll want to look for traces of a leak.

where exactly would i check how much fluid is their? I dont even know where the pump is.

Take a look at the right side of the pic (drivers side of engine). See the pulley right below the coil pack (3 coils)? That's the p.s. pump, and the reservoir is on top. Remove the cap. The cap has a dipstick with a mark on it for checking the level. Smell the fluid too to see if it smells burnt. Dab some fluid on a clean paper towel and see if it looks old and black.

C'mon man.... Get to know your Camaro a little better than that!!! :icon_slap: You should familiarize yourself with all the fluid types and where the fill points are at the very least. Do you have a Haynes or a glove box manual? They have maps of all the fluid cap locations under the hood. Look for the cap under your hood that says "power steering fluid"
