RE: wheels
the back would be find, but the front would hit, i know this from experience. i tried putting 18x9.5" wheels on my 02 SS, and the fronts hit the front sway bar, if u had 8 or 8.5" in the front, it would prolly work, but with that high of an offset, 9.5" is too wide for the front. the wheels i had were +56mm offset.

im not sure about your year, but on mine it was quiet a tight fit, and it would hit when i turned, didnt allow to go full-lock either way. but my car does have a different suspension set up, so it may work on yours. just something to think about, or look into before getting them. i know the user 95slvrZ28 on here has 9.5" wide z06 rims on his LT1, he would be a good person to ask. maybe u could go down to a local rim shop and have them test fit some 17x9.5" rimswith a simialr offset, just to see.

Hey guys I was just looking at these forums to see a thread just like this. I have a 94 Firebird 3.4. I just got 17x9.5 Boyd Coddington rims.
I am measuring from bead to bead inside the rim to get 9.5 inches, Is this the correct way to measure? I dont want to spend $600 on tires if they wont fit on the front.
