whats your opinion
so the flat black paint....it looks amazing if its done right, but i never had a car that was painted flat black. I was told its easy to take car of and other say its the worst cause it scratches easy. so whats everyones opinion? would it be worth the money or is it paint that you use on a show car?

Looks better on Trans Am's imo; real sinister. There are a couple guys on ls1tech with flat back cars

Flat means not shine. Matt is Semi-Gloss. I like the Matt finish and plan on doing it for my 1993. Most of the car you see that look like crap are painted flat with rattle can. BBQ grill paint is not going to hold up to constant 80MPH winds.

Never liked the flat or matte look because it reminds me of a chalkboard. However, that LT1 era Camaro with matte paint looks pretty good... but I wouldn't want to DD a car with very touchy paint. I would only go with flat or matte if I was painting a show car.
