Cool, thanks for the info.. appreciated!
Guess I'll take it to a few shops tomorrow for estimates, then more than likely gonna park it in the woods and find a new car. haha this was short-lived fun I guess.

i have a good 700r4 but it wont work in your car. have a look around you may find a good one for a good price. should be a few 4l60e's out there that will work.

Nah, we'll see what some shops say tomorrow. If it's a rebuild or anything close to it, I'm just washing my hands of it. I'm so upside down on this bastard.. I'll just end up sticking it away in a garage til I have time/money/patience to fix it, and move on in the meantime.

My car makes the exact same noise but in my case its my exhaust. I crushed the exhaust awhile back and replaced with an aftermarket CarQuest one. Well where I clamped the exhaust to the pipe coming off the CAT is a bar that runs accross the car. Whenever I put my car into reverse my clamp hits that bar and makes that exact same noise.

Sweet, looks like an exhaust hanger broke, so hopefully that'll fix it and I don't have to get rid of the car haha

Damn, you're lucky if that's all it was. It sure sounded like bad news in the video.
