granted the classics are everyones favorites, but besides them I honestly like the 93-2002 body the best. They kinda look corvetty to me - as for the new camaros, they look pretty boxy too me, they still look cool....but I honestly prefer the 93-2002 body style, sucks that they stopped making them - does anyone know why they did?

 

They stopped 'cause they weren't selling. I think it was a combination of the looks, (which actually were not very popular) the price, and the fact that Ford was basically saturating the market with Mustangs, both well advertised and well priced. The Camaro was by far a better car, but that wasn't enough by itself.

Consider the following numbers. In 1969, they sold 243,085. In 1979, 282,571. In 1987, 137,760. And lastly, in 2002, 42,098.

They cancelled production because they couldn't price the car low enough to bring up sales, and because they couldn't do it as a low-volume, higher price car.

Also, personally, I think a '69 convertible looks awesome, although I also like a nice, clean IROC-Z, like mine :v

I think the Trans Am was the best Camaro.....

 

I love the 69 and the also the gen 5 but, I get lots of compliments on my 01 SS. Love that car too LOL
The 70 split bumper is sexy as it is a nice loaded IROC. Jeez, I guess I have no favorite :-)

 

First Obviously the 69 followed by early second gens then I'd have to say any year 3rd gen. Those are my top 3
