I am talking about trading my truck for it and I was just wondering what year it is. I know its above a 97 because it has an ls1.

you cant tell just from that, you can check the VIN number https://camaroforums.com/m_169793/tm.htm or just ask the guy i would hope he knows

1998-2002 is all i can tell you from the pics.

 

I do believe thats a 1942 not sure...na jk um im guessing a 2002

 

i dont think its and 02 because of the hood. I was thinking about 98-00

 

There is no visual difference between the 1998-2002, the only way to visually tell will be the VIN.

 

yep, the hoods are identical throughout

 

I thought they added a hood scoop

 

The hood scoop is on all SS models which were available from 1996-2002.
