It should just be same size as your exhaust piping

A cutout is just a pipe with a hole, go to a shop and have them make one or get a bigger one online and have a shop adapt it.

DMH is a good choice for the electric valve, and Dynomax makes some stainless steel cutout pipes:

Welcome to DMH Performance!

Dynomax® Performance Exhaust | Accessories | Customer Builder / Specialty parts

If you haven't added a cat-back and want to, you should consider this before adding the cutout (pipe size may be different). 2.75" is a rather non-standard size... Another option, see if Dynomax can make the cutout custom with your 2.75" pipe and the pipe & point where the e-valve mounts make it 3"...

I would add a cat back but my parents won't let me, as long as I live here I'm not allowed to put any "expensive" upgrades on my car

Bro, I so feel your pain on that. My parents are the same way. I mean I was allowed to do an exhaust and rims and other cosmetic work, but since my dad is pretty car knowledgeable, he doesn't let me do a thing performance wise.

Sorry, I know that doesn't help you but I just to do a quick vent sesh lol

Mine are the opposite I get the whole "well what's wrong with the old exhaust ain't nothin wrong with it" " but dad if I add longtubes and a full catback I could increase mpg a bit and it'd be faster and more fun and increase its value!"

"Well that's dumb son, everyone knows a car ain't gonna get better mileage if its gonna be faster! And the value will go down cause you fooled with engine stuff!"

Grrr
