Are you asking about a LT1 or a LS1. If your looking for just a good driving cam thats going to get you that little extra. LT4 hotcam for the LT1 and LS6 for the LS1. What are you looking to get out of it.

Neither, call TSP and tell them what your goals for the car are and get a real cam.

I have an LS1 its cuz i just want something that will give me a little more power but that i will only have to change the valve springs. Its cfuz this is something i am trying to get in before i get married and this will be our only vehicle, and also we will both be working and going to school in a city about 30 minutes away.

You need to change springs no matter what cam you swap to, if your not willing to swap springs don't bother with a cam swap.

Depending on mods, cams with a duration of .227 (@50)or less tend to be very friendly. Plus a LSA of 114 or higher will have a smoother idle.
