what are all the engine swaps out there?

Default what are all the engine swaps out there?

i got a 3.4 and want to know what has been/can be dropped in these cars? i am keeping my options open so it doesn't have to be a v8

There are no Options. Build your 3.4 or buy a 3.8 or V8 car.

i swapped a lt1 for a lt1 and it went ok. yep gorn is right the cars are motor specific.

exactly if your aware that your spending more money then you should and want to do it just to say u did it then go for it...but if you just want more power buy a 3.8 car or v8 car

wow you all are so negative maybe i should say that i bought my camaro for under a grand, have access to a place to work on the car with all the tools and won't be charged for it... i guess i could go to a pick and pull with a few strong people and take what i need for 50 bucks....

50 bucks? That might get you a throttle body, and they just may throw in the air cleaner to go with it. Read the sticky, add up the value of all the parts for what you think you need, then double it. That should get you close.

Read the sticky. Follow the links.
For every 1000 people we have that say they are going to do it. We have maybe 1 that does it once they see what is involved. Most of those people that have completed it are the first to chime in “it aint worth it”. We get one or two that start that project every month or show up here after they have started it. Those who have the experience that is needed for this project do not ask questions on websites, they just do a little research and realize very quickly it’s not worth it. You can buy and rebuild a Z28 in half the time with half the cost of converting a V6.

As for fitting a non Camaro engine in there. Well read the sticky that is covered at the end.

at a pick and pull anything u can grab and carry out is 50 bucks for example if u could carry half a car out thats only 50 bucks
