Default well damn..

well today i ****ed up..i put off getting gas to last min. so i could spend time with my girl..nd i waited to long...nd i ran out of gas...literally like less than a quarter of a mile to my house...well i get some gas in it, nd when i go to start her back up, nada...she wont start...damn fuel injected motors grr...im assuming some crud in the tank got in the pump or filter, oh well...ima try to do some work my self before i go replacing the pump, cause thats a *****

i NEVER let my car go below 1/4 tank for that reason. Ive only ran out of gas once and i got lucky that nothing had gotten into the pump. Use fuel cleaners etc. regularly.

You probably fried the fuel pump, it uses the fuel as a coolant/lubricant, and you ran her dry...

yeah, i usually never let it go below a 1/4 tank but i was just bein careless nd though i had more than i did, cause ya know how the gauges are on these things, it'll go from a 1/4 tank to over a 1/2 in 2 seconds, oh well..just somethin else to fix, im the one who bought this car anyway, nd i dont regret it one bit..but oh well

mine runs out before the needle hits e. Found that out the hard way. At the back of the fuel rail is the fitting to check the fuel pressure, its like an oversized tire valve, just push the valve in see if gas squirts out see if its gettin to the rail at all.

yeah the schrader valve, ima check it out tomorrow before she goes off to the shop, ima try to fix it my self..but if i cant do it, ima do it my self, if thats it, nd theres just air or something in the lines, then that will be an easy fix.

lol i run out all the time..but i got the old mech fuel pump..so fill it up, dump some in the carb and vroom off i goa gain lol(none of my gauges work except the oil press. and water temp that i installed.... speedo, gas gauge,& battery dont work)...ide probably die in one of the newer cars cuz i cant afford to drive as muca s i do so id ebee changin pumps every week lol....but good luck man
