yeah i am really not wanting to do that. it looks like a pain in the ***. but i picked up a fuel pressure tester and obd2 scanner today. im going to test the fuel pressure when it starts to act like it runs out and see what i get. also gonna see if anything comes up on the scanner. ever since i had the car it had the service engine soon light on. i thought it was from not having a cat but i wasnt sure.

gota take the rearend out so it would be a good time to replace bushings, worth it but sometimes pita sometimes not so much. depends on the rust factor

car has barly any rust on it. just some surface starting on the bottom. it isnt bad for a michigan car with 211000 on it. i guess taking the tank out would be a good time to fix the gas gauge. but i think in it ends up being the fuel pump im just going to go the hatch route.

anybody know of a good place to get a fuel pump for a decent price. the auto parts stores by me want 375 for one and that just seems like to much to me.

Also if my fuel pump is bad will it show up on a scanner. I dont have any check or service engine lights on right now but i did have a service engine light on. Im not sure if that matters or not.
