Default weather stripping on the bottom of the door

the door weather stripping on the bottom is getting brittle and starting to come off. can i replace it with regular autozone weather stripping or does it have to be an exact match? do i even need it?

i was actually talking about the piece that attaches to the door itself.....one strip that runs the entire length of the door. is that the same thing you are referring to?
