Default water leak of some kind?

OKAY so my right rear speaker wasnt working, and hasnt been working since ive had the car (however i tested it on my system in my room and it played just fine) so i decided to take it out. after i tested it and found out it was fine, i figured there had to be some kind of loose wire connected to the amp, or at worst, some kind of undetectable short.

and if someone can help me with that part of my problem then that would be great

but also... as i was doing that i saw that behind the rear seat... was wet. so i took out the rear seats and under there the carpet was SOAKED. idk where its coming from yet but i pulled up the carpet (except for where the rear seat buckles are bolted with a torx bit that i dont have) and saw some huge *** puddles sittin there. so i got a wet dry vac and dryed things up.

now what i think is going on is that the rear hatch as leaking at the corners and is going though and down there. also my car sits in my driveway at an angle with the front of the car tilted down. and its been raining a lot for the past 2 days and thursday it was REALLLLLY bad so i think thats when it started.

so has anyone else had a problem like this??

it would be a good idea for all those who have leaking t-top to pull out the seats and carpet to check for rust. with the thick undercoating you will not know it is rusting. the metal will rust out while the rubber stays inplace. same goes for the wheel wells, and on the drivers side rear wheel well there is a cover plate to protect the filler neck, that acts like a trap for salt, dirt and water, leading to nasty rust.
