Vette Wheels on a Camaro..?
I just got a 97 z28. I have some 17" american racing wheels with 275/40's mounted on them off of an 87 vette project car. If possible I want to put these on my Z. But i wasnt sure if they'll fit because i know corvette wheels have more of an offset. I think the offset says like 42mm on the wheels? Will they work or will i need to get some sort of spacers/adapter?

If you have them, why not test fit them?

my thoughts exactly music. wouldn't take but a few minutes of your time.

Slap them on and see if they fit! If they do the take the car for a test drive and see if there are any rubbing issues! Hope this helps, my 94 Z has 17x9.5 upfront and 18x10.5 in the back (ZO6 rims) with Sam Strano 1.2" lowering springs and there are no rubbing or clearance issues! I’m trying to figure out how to post pics but I’m computer illiterate! lol please help if possible! |
i have z05 vette wheels on my camaro with no problems.also have the goodyear eagle f-1 275/40 runflats.fit right on there.might get a split second rub if i'm really getting on it around a curve like accelerating very hard to get on the freeway.oh,which i do often lol.and the 275's look great

The last time my mom borrowed my car, she ended up racing some guy on the street. *sigh* At least she won. ;) Gotta love anyone stupid enough to challenge a Camaro!(Even if mine is only a 3.4 v6. :P) |
