Default V6 vs v8

Ok so the title is meant to attract people lol. I recently (2 days ago) put a transmission mount from a z28 Camaro in my car and I already ripped it in half. My little sixxer tore apart a v8 mount...

So I decided it's time for an upgrade. At the time, I thought the z28 mount was an upgrade. Boy, was I wrong. So in THIS case, V6 WINS!!!

I just went to AutoZone and picked up a Energy Suspension Polyurethane tranny mount. Booya!!

Wish me luck. I don't think it's going to fit We'll see though. Universal mounts.........

It was meant to be an "attention getter"... On another note, I TORE APART A Z28 MOUNT WITH A V6!!!!!!! Not only did I tear it, but I tore it after it being in the car for a total of only 36 hours!

If this does not work then I would say get the torque arm relocator and leave the broken trans mounts alone. Another thing you may want to check is the other engine mounts to see if they are broken as well. Broken engine mounts will stress the trans mounts.

Motor mounts are good. I brake stood the accelerator like you said to do. Torqued down the motor pretty good in 1st AND reverse and it didn't move at all. I'd say they're good
