v6 to v8 conversion?
 
i have a 1999 3.8L v6 camaro and am looking to put a 383 into it. wondering if anyone has done it? if so what all did you have to change? and is there a conversion kit?
please respond if you know anything bout this subject much thanks to you all

It's something that has been asked alot before and this is basically how I can sum it up.

Unless you plan on doing this yourself, which 99% of people can't do, you are going to have to pay a lot of money just for someone to do the swap. Thats on top of the money you are going to have to pay for the new motor, which is going to run a tab of over a couple thousand dollars.

Seeing as most of these cars can be bought for under 10 grand, there's really no point in wasting that much to do an engine swap. Its in almost all cases, much more logical to sell the car you own, and then just buy a v8. Unless their is a huge/very important reason you need to keep the car you have, then its probably not worth it.
