Default Upgrade alternator?

So my alternator started squeaking a little while ago. It was kinda the least of my concerns at the time and I knew I would need a new one eventually. Last night when Case was doing my inspection he noticed that the volts were down when idling. And it's still squeaky. So I'm looking for a more powerful alt now. From what I found, stock is 105 amp? I've searched Advanced Auto, Auto Zone, Summit, Jegs, Napa, Ebay, ZZP, Intense, Yella Terra, and a few other smaller sites for a bigger alt. The only thing I've come up with it this from Summit, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MCI-N8224-11HO/ It's really the only thing I've found that's not stock and a decent price. Anyone know any other places to look? I did search on Google as well and I'm still not really getting anything. I want something well over stock, which is why I was looking between the 120-150 amp range. Just about everything else had been replaced concerning power. The battery is brand new, the starter is brand new, the starter is directly grounded with new ground and starter wires...so the alternator should be the only thing left to replace. It's not causing any problems yet other than dropping a little at idle (it's fine while running), but I want to get it taken care of before my lights start going goofy and I get left stranded because my battery is dead or something.

Looks like it would be a good choice, but do you really need the extra amps? 105 is alot and most of the equips in our cars dont get close to that normally. Low volts and squeeky belts at idle are signs of slipping belt from aged belt or weak tensioner.

Hm, I suppose a weak tensioner could be an issue. It's not the belt though, it's brand new (ok, like 6 months or so old) and I bought the more expensive, better quality one offered. But I'm beefing everything up in preparation for the turbo. I have a nice system and other extra lights all throughout my car, so I wanted the extra amps.

You don't need a cap and you don't need a Ho alt. You won't need a Ho alt unless you are running a system that has 2 batteries. You don't want to draw power from a alt you want to draw it from a battery. Best thing to do is get the alt tested and if it charges too low just replace with oem.105a is pretty Damn good. Most cars only have 80 and Honda are notorious for small alts 50-60a. Consider yourself lucky.

Well, what did you go with? Did you stick with stock or go for something more?
