Default Uhm, Where does this plug go??

So I was in the middle of doing a wire tuck to clean up the look of the engine bay when I came across something. Under the fuse box was a plug, not plugged into anything, no place to put it that I could fine, and apparently its been there since I bought the car. I have no idea what it is supposed to go to. It splits off from the huge wire wrap right under the abs module. So I would really like to know where this plug is supposed to go..

Also, while Im on the subject, my battery is unplugged for this and I didnt get to finish before my fingers were about to fall off from the cold. So it will be unplugged over night. Now I read somewhere that to reset the ecu, the battery has to be unplugged for at least a half hour for the electrical current to drain from the computer. But there was confrontation on what happened next. Either you turned it right back on and vuala its reset, or you turned the key without starting it and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then you start it and its reset. (I just figured I mine as well reset it since it is probably still used to the other owners driving style. And since the battery is already unplugged for a while, mine as well.)

Here are a couple pictures of the plug I found though.

Thank you for any help.

Moderators need to move this out of the First Generation 67-69 Section.

Guess that explains why I couldn't find that plug on my 69.
Thread moved to the general section. Let me know if you'd prefer it in the v6 section.

Guess I wasn't paying attention much. I remember posting around the topics for the first gen (thought they were the fourth gen for some reason). Sorry about that. Had a blonde moment apparently. Haha.

Ii just looked up the air pump. So thats what I saw on the firebird that had the 3.4l. But would you mind to bring me up to speed on this part and why my camaro doesn't have it, but still has the plug, and what its initial function is? If my camaro does have it, its not in the same place that it was on the firebird.

oddly enough, neither of my camaros ever had the air pump that I saw. I just happened to notice that on a firebird in the junkyard. Ive never heard of an air pump on any other car that I have come across either.
