Default Trick Flow Air Inlet Elbow

Ok so i finally got it yesterday and installed it and after driving around for alil bit im pretty impressed. My engine sounds healthier than it did when i had unmetered air coming in from my old worn stock elbow. Not to mention i feel the throttle response is slightly improved with the less restrictive aluminum part.

I am deducing from context clues that this 'elbow' is the 90 degree turn after the intake.

If I am right, how much does one of these 'Trick Flow Air Inlet Elbow's cost?

nope its a 94. BUT its the elbow after the MAF that connects the MAF and the TB. In healthier i mean that before i installed it my old elbow with the attached "donky dong" was more restrictive and had holes ripped in it from being taking off and put back on by the previous owner. Those holes causes unmetered air to get into my engine which messed up my air/fuel mixture because there was more air coming in than the MAF had accounted for. As for quicker response. It doesnt seem to have the lag it had with my old one. The lag was caused by the poor air/fuel mixture.

So Spartan, you're saying that your butt dyno feels an increase

The unmetered air is the thing that you're really going to tell a difference on, vaccum leaks are bad news bears! but...it's good to hear that you got it on and it's all working good!

lol my butt dyno was pretty satisfied lol. Now for the Lingenfelter CAI. But yeah the unmetered air was bad my car sounded horrible and choppy even on premium gas.. i was like wtf do i need to run jet fuel.. then i saw the holes in my intake and now that its fixed she sounds as good as a 125k mile LT1 with exhaust leaks out the yin yang could sound.
