TID and CID codes?
My scan tool is showing a few TID and CID codes, how would I be able to translate these?
TID: CID: $02$04 $02$10 $02$11 $02$12 $02$16 $02$20 $02$21 $02$26 $02$30 $02$31 $02$36 $02$40 $02$46 $03$01 $03$02 $04$20 (critical failure) $04$30 $06$35 $06$41 $06$55 $06$61 $06$0C (critical failure) $06$0D (critical failure) |
What scanner are you using that is giving such raw data? I thought all scanners converted the CID data to codes. I know I have seen a chart somewhere that covered the CID. I will look when I get a chance.

I found this, don't knwo if it helps.

I am using that ELM-327 bluetooth scan tool with the torque android app. It reads check engine light fault codes normally, but when I do a realtime scan test it brings up these codes.
Ill look into that laptop one, that sounds interesting. Thanks for that link, I will check it out! |
If you already have the Elm 327 bule tooth you have the hardware as long as you have a laptop with buletooth. The ebay cable I have is just the Elm 327 USB

Gorn, my 99 v6 Camaro had the abs system on obdii standards. I don't know if that was because of the updated computer with TBW but it could be read with my OBDII scanner and is almost identical to the ABS system in my 2000Z28. I can't speak for the older systems tho on what system was used.
