hope it goes good for ya. looks like its part of the cable. rock has the cable for 42 bucks. might call a place that sells the cable and ask if that part is included. if not then its got to be for sale somewhere.

 

Thank you I might be able to work with it, Now I have another issue, my car runs great, but the oil pressure gauge is not working now, i relplaced the oil sending unit/pressure switch on the oil adapter but my guage does not work.....any ideas? It was working before i removed the motor!

 

make sure its plugged in right, can be a pain with the sleeve on it.

 

i removed the boot, removed the plug, cleaned it, and put it back together, taking care to make sure it's proper, on start my guage is way past 80 and stays there, it jerks abit when the key is turned but does not move.....

 

what sending unit did you get. either its the wrong one, failing or you have a grounded sending wire. gauge goes to max when grounded.
