Question Throttle Cables

ok so the last thing on my car are the cable that go the the throttle, I don't know which goes where and how is there a diagram or maybe someone could tell me? until then my car wont be getting started.....

Take a pic its been a while for me, but I can tell you where to hook up what. The cables bolt on the tb after its bolted to the intake

throttle cable goes on the half circle, 3.4 i think the cruse goes in the the other half circle. look at the cable and line it up with the throttle lever and you should be able to tell which one they go to.

Now my only problem ithe shift selector on the trans, it seem that there is a piece missing that allows the ball to snap into the cable, I don't know what it look like or how it goes where? I can't move without this!

cant say ive never had mine apart. i just unbolt the arm and mount from the trans and leave it together. did you look on shbox, good place to do research. http://shbox.com/trans/A4_trans_linkage.html

I looked at that link, My issue is that it wont snap back on..... it seems that the hole on the likage is too big for the ball... i dont understand how this happend? any fixes?

is that little plastic piece in there and did you try it the other way.

no plastic piece i even went to advanced and bought a assortent but non would fit..... and i did not turn it around i didn't think it work that way, will it?

gotta have that round plastic piece. better do some more hunting around the work area. i would think thats a common gm trans part so you should stop by the local gm parts dept and see if its still available.
