temp gauge

Default temp gauge

my temp gauge isnt reading what sensor needs to be replaced n where is it located car runs very rough when cold

Computer one is on top of the intake manifold towards the drivers side of the thermostat.
The gauge one is on the drivers side towards the front of the cylinder head.

....and the gauge one being bad (if it is) wouldn't make the engine run crappy.

How do you know its the sensor and not the gage or wiring?

The thermostate being stuck open/closed can cause the temp guage to not work, but I'm not sure it would cause your car to run rough when it was cold
