Well a few months ago i sold my WS6 hood and picked up a Raptor hood. I know suncoast does good work but the hood that was shipped to me wasnt a very good mold and didnt come close to fitting so after talking with suncoast they took it back so there is no hard fillings there.

What i have been searching for the last 8 months is a superhawk hood. We all know they are very rare and hard to find. I have also been thinking about going with a VFN hood but i fill like i dont know if its what i want.

I did find some cheap superhawk knock off's online.

I know that one like this would need a ton of work to be made to fit right but do you think it might be worth it? I can afford to put $500 or $600 bucks into making a $300 hood fit but i am not a body man so i dont know how much work it would take.

Any idea's or help would be great since i have been sporting a silver firebird hood for the last 8 months on a red WS6

your link to the hood is not working. i guess the question is it worth it to you. 500 bucks sure aint what it used to be.

Well i paid 800 for the raptor and it was not what i wanted. It would have taken about 500 more to trim and fit it since the fit was so poor. So when we are talking about 800 total it doesnt sound so bad.

I do like 2 of the VFN hoods but i have been searching for a superhawk for so long now i dont know if i will be happy with any thing else.
