RE: supercharger
Not worth the swap. Sorry man but its not all about the engine. You will need a full LS1 front clip to start out with (not cheap) You will also need to upgrade your rear end and change out your drive shaft and thats just to start with.

You are also looking at re wiring the hole car. Not fun on a F-body. You would be better off saving up and buying a LS1 car from the start. Due to fuel cost they are down in pirce right now and you can pick up one hell of a car for cheap.

There are two options for you. You could drop in a carb 350 but you are still going to have a rear end issue. However this will save you some of the cost of wiring and ecu crap that you will deal with on the LS1 or LT1.

The second is a 3.4 turbo. This is not a bad set up if you have time to put into her. Keep in mind a lot of it is going to be custom work so you may have a lot of down time. You are not going to be runing down LS1's but it is good for a 60-80 HP gain.
