I have a twelve inch siting beside the compartment in the back. That's the best place for them. If you want two make something you can put back there to hold them yet still be able to remove to get your spare out.

i have a 10" kenwood and built my own box with the correct port an i have it on the trunk deck, right against the back seat and it fits fine. they make ported boxes that fit in the trunk and a rear amp rack against the back
Camaro Trans Am Subwoofer box
there are cheaper sites than that, just gotta shop around

so one on each side of the back? then where do i put the amp?
i was gonna get the custom sub enclosure but then i would have no trunk space.
How exactly does it work anyways? you get 2 subs with lets say 500 watts each then get a 1000 watt amp? or what? thanks

i think your taking about a bazoka. i have always looked to crutchfield for my stereo's and equip. if you dont like what you get you have like 4 weeks to send it back and try something else. i went through 3 amps before i got the one i liked.

and thats usually the thing people think, 2x500w=1000w amp im good. not necessarily. those are just the specs for what they can peak or spike up to. they only display those numbers for advertising. what really matters is the RMS rating. RMS is continuous power flow. so the better the RMS, the more powerful the system.
also, yeah bigger numbers may mean louder system, but its not just that. its also how the box is designed, either sealed or ported. for example, my system, is a single 10" kenwood 1000w peak, 350w RMS and 2 channel bridgeable amp, 800w peak, 300w RMS. some people tell me oh thats nothing, but bc the way i built my box, it hits hard but its also crisp, smoot bass, not annoying cant even hear the song bass lol
in simpler words, more is not always better. you can talk to crutchfield and they will recommend stuff, but i dont buy from them, WAY too expensive. i talk to them to help me and recommend me the best stuff, and then i shop for the same items for cheaper. hope this all helped, sorry if its too much
