still gets hot
 
my car is still getting hot, i flushed some water down the thermostat and radiator and cleaned ressi. so now on friday i will do a chemical flush, any other ideas?

Would have made more sense to add this question to your other thread, there are still a couple unanswered questions from there, and a couple more I can think of...
Have you verified yet whether or not the fans are coming on? You said you were unsure about that.
Did you make sure all air is bled out of the cooling system?
Is it overheating on the highway, in traffic, or both?
You replaced the thermostat, was the engine overheating with the old one?

yes i have verified the fans are coming on thru a data logg from my scanner. yes i have bled the air multiple times, it is overheating in traffic only. yes the engine was getting very hot and overheating with the old one as well.

ofc i removed the plastic from the radiator before installing it.

is the dam dam in place? how old is the radiator? how did the coolant look when you flushed it?

yes the air damn is still in place, brand new radiator, wheni flushed it looked apple green almost a hint of yellow

Back to the fans. You mentioned that you verified that the fans were coming on by observing the data logger. The PCM has no idea whether the fans are coming on or not, it only knows that it commanded the fans to go on. You really need to look at the fans when the engine is hot. Additionally, if the fan wiring was messed with, there is a possibility that the fan wiring was reversed and the fans are spinning in the wrong direction

just the coolant temperature wires were messed with and i spliced them together nicely. so should i just buy a new fan?
