In my opinion, they're sports cars with a muscle feel. They aren't refined, like most sports cars, but they'll take a corner fairly well and generally are very easy to drive.

I consider the V8 versions Muscle Cars, the V6 versions are "sporty coupes".

A real sports car is smaller and usually only has 2 seats.

i like to call it muscle due to the V8 and raw-ness when you have a de-muffled exhaust. The car in not refined at all compared to european sports cars and sorry guys they handle like a barge unless you have factory upgrade, or spend $1000+ dollors on suspension which i have done.

Still im english so what do i know!!! However I drag race with a lot of guys with classic muscle, cudas, old camaros, mustanges etc from 60-70s. And id still say camaro is modern muscle, the corvette is a sports car!

just my input

I say 3rd gen up is mixed, and 2nd gen down is muscle. From there 4th gen up is sport, but that's just me. If you have a carbed 3rd gen I'd say muscle, DPI you have sport, but that's my two cents.
