Hi

I have a 1996 camaro V6 3,8l

The speedometer does not show the real speed I am driving at. It stopps at 10 Mph

Anyone know how to fix it?

Remove speedometer and send it to a repair service or just get one out of a junk yard.

Sigve,

Can't help with the instrument, sorry. Does the odometer still work as it should? If you just want your actual speed, Amazon has lots of GPS speedometers starting at about US$35 and up ('way up).
I have a cheap one. It is very easy to read - great for the school zones. The auto-radar advisory signs on the roadside are always spot-on to the GPS reading. There is a very small lag-time in acceleration or braking (a second or less), but man, you need to be looking for that, to notice. When you stop, it reads out trip-time and distance for two seconds, which I find useless, mostly. Mine will beep after an hour on the road, which I like as a safety factor - a good time to make a stop and stretch, really.
Some GPS units tout a heads-up display function (as in, showing in the windshield), but nothing I have found is bright enough to do that in daylight. I just read the GPS unit directly.
HTH.
