Maybe it's time to get a new motor.

so are the swiches going out? theres a sticky on the site somewhere i think faq and tech or somethin like that. it tells how to change the motor. mine is doing something like that. i dont know for sure if its the motor, all i do is wait a min or two and it works again so i think its a conection somewhere. it only happens for a short time though so i cant track it down.

That's the link I used to change out my motors. Easier than it seems. Just get a set off ebay. You can rivet them in or screw them in.

My 94 was doing the same thing with the passenger window. Sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn't. I took it over to the chevy dealer in town and had them test my switch and the master mechanic told me it was the window motor, said it was a really common gm thing in the early to mid 90's to have happen. Replaced the motor no problems since.

Use the screws and the nuts. The rivets are a PITA. I recently bought a window motor off ebay and haven't had any problems. Includes new nuts and bolts too.

It's aftermarket, being as GM no longer produces that window motor.
