Security light

Just got an '02 V-6 and there's this yellow light on the instrument panel that reads "security". What does it mean / do and how do I get it to go out??

It means that VATS was disabled because a fault occured while the engine was running.

Well the contacy cleaner didn't work I sprayed the s**t out of it. Oh well if thats my only problem I should feel lucky.

You should fix the problem because eventually something is going to happen and one morning you won't beable to start the car.

security

Yeah.. on my 93 every 20 or so starts I would go to start it turn the key and boom security light no start for like five mins. then it'd go off and I'd be ready to go.
