Hello everyone. Got several seat questions. Problem trying to fix is worn drivers seat bolster on my 95 Z-28 with cloth seats. ( I think all 100,000 mile plus cars have this issue). I bought a very nice passenger seat from a junk yard that cleaned up like new. I plan to remove the current passengers seat (which has a burn hole in the seat bottom) and replace it with the junk yard seat. So far no problem. Now next I'd like to do one of two things. Replace the drivers side seat back with the removed passenger seat back OR pull the COVER off the removed passenger seat and put it on the drivers side seat.. I know either way, Ill have the wrong side parts installed. So... will the seat backs swap out ? or will the seat COVERS swap out right to left ?? Anybody ever try to do this ? (P.S.- I am already aware of issues with the tilt lever and the seat belt retainer part). Good junk yard drivers seats are impossible to find.
