Default rpm changer after tune?

i recently installed long tubes on my 95 and i had the pcm sent off for a tune. and its something thats just kinda iching at me a bit but not a problem to me. but iv noticed the rpms are about 100-200 higher then normally when im driveing. i know thats not much a difference but from driveing the same roads everyday and knowing where the rpms sits at, its something i notice. is there any reason for this?
