So talking to someone on CL and they are selling a set of 4 00' firebird polished rims w/tires for $200 with 75% tread left. Good deal?Yes? no? right now im rolling on an unknown,spraypainted-black, one rim cap missing set of rims(with silver bolts sticking out for the rim caps). Been looking for SS or vette rims but I live in Corpus Christi,Texas and I guess ppl just arent as bad a$$ as us on the forum so noone has an SS, or vette rims for sale.

That is a decent price. I just picked up a set as part of a larger deal. I was thinking of putting the Trans Am rims on my 96 (currently rims off a 2000). It was a over cast day and a phone pic and both sets are dirty. They are both the chrome version. It does not look like but they are the same size.

I paid $100 for the chrome 2000 rims 2 years ago but two of the tire where shot.

That is a very good deal, especially with 75% tread. I've been watching my local CL for a while and they want more than that for three wheels and tires.

I have the chrome version rims, they really make the car look sharp. I wouldn't mind owning the Firebird/trans am wheels though. I think it's a decent deal if the rims and tires are in great condition.

...also because I'm missing a center cap to one of my wheels. Can't find a replacement.

The real question I have is why do they only have three??? Did they run over a pothole and break the missing one or what?
